Questions
How is this different from a WordPress website?
A WordPress site runs a live database and a stack of add-on plugins on a server, all day. Each plugin is another door that has to be kept locked with updates, and an update can break the site. We build your pages ahead of time and serve the finished files from Cloudflare’s worldwide network. There is no live database or plugin for a visitor to reach.
Is it really more secure?
Most website break-ins come through outdated plugins, server scripts or the database behind the site. Our websites do not have those parts facing the internet, and Cloudflare’s firewall sits in front of every visit. Nothing online is risk free, but there is very little here to attack.
Can I update my hours, prices or photos?
Yes. Send us the change by email and we publish it. Businesses with a portal can change their prices and some page content themselves.
Will contact forms, maps and booking links still work?
Yes. Forms are protected from spam without puzzles for real people. Maps, tap-to-call buttons, booking calendars and payments all work, added in a way that keeps the page fast.
Do I need to pay for monthly maintenance?
Not for plugins. There are no plugins or database to patch, so there is no monthly fee just to keep the site safe. You still renew your domain name each year, and we are here whenever you want changes.
Will it help my Google rankings?
Speed helps. Google favors pages that load quickly on phones, and our sites are made to pass Google’s speed tests. We also set up each page for the searches your customers type and connect your Google Business Profile. Rankings also depend on your reviews and your competition, so no one can honestly promise a spot on page one.
For the technically minded: static pages built ahead of time and served from Cloudflare’s edge network, with serverless functions and a private database only behind each portal, locked with Cloudflare Access.
